Frequently asked questions
Sheep's wool flakes - Naturally for the garden
Ours Eco sheep's wool flakes in brown are a versatile, ecological natural product for horticulture. Made from pure new wool from local sheep, they improve long-term soil quality and provide a natural source of nutrients for plants. Due to their high water absorption capacity, they store moisture and release it slowly - ideal for dry summers or sandy soils. The flakes also act as a mulch layer, reduce weed growth and provide protection against snails. After decomposition, they enrich the soil with valuable nitrogen and minerals - without any chemical additives.
Application recommendation
- Apply a 1–2 cm thick layer to the soil as mulch
- Work lightly into the soil before planting
- Also suitable for compost enrichment or moisture regulation in planters
Tip: The sheep's wool flakes are particularly practical in organic farming and natural gardening - without any chemical fertilizers.
